MediaCorp TV's Channel 5 to show live telecast of F1 S'pore

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp TV's Channel 5 will offer live telecast of the 2008 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in September.

Viewers will be able to watch the 3-day event from 26th to 28th September.

The race is the world's first F1 night street race.

MediaCorp has also lined up a number of F1-related television programmes to be aired from March till September on Channel 5 and Channel NewsAsia.

These include a year-long series called "Inside Grand Prix" which will be shown on Channel NewsAsia at 9.30pm from 14 March.

Readers can also look forward to special F1 supplements in the TODAY newspaper starting this weekend. - CNA/vm
