SINGAPORE: The funerals for the four family members who died in a car crash on 27 March will take place on 2 April.

The coffins of Bong Kwang Hong, his wife Kor Yee Lin, their two-year-old son, Justin Bong, and Madam Kor's mother, Pang Chee Seng, are at the Church of St Mary of the Angels, in Bukit Batok.

The couple's two-month-old daughter, Jolene Bong, was the only one to survive the car crash in Tangkak, in the Malaysian state of Johor.

She was found unharmed about 10 metres from the car wreck.

As the only surviving family member, Jolene is expected to inherit more than S$1 million in property, insurance compensation and Central Provident Fund contributions.

Jolene is currently being looked after by one of her uncles. - CNA/vm
