5 new members appointed to NUS Board of Trustees

SINGAPORE: Five leaders from business, the media and research sectors have been appointed to the National University of Singapore's Board of Trustees.

They are: Goh Yew Lin, managing director of GK Koh Holdings; Han Fook Kwang, editor of the Straits Times; Kay Kuok Oon Kwong, executive chairman of Shangri la Hotel; Dr Edison Liu, executive director of the Genome Institute of Singapore; and Philip Tan, director of EQ Insurance Company.

Two other members of the Board have stepped down. With Wong Ngit Liong as chairman, the NUS Board of Trustees comprises 23 members, including MediaCorp's Chief Executive Officer Lucas Chow. - CNA/ir
