SINGAPORE: Local company Fast Innovations Asia is breaking new ground at this year's Singapore Fashion Festival.

The technology company has launched a high-tech access sticker, called the Stickkey, which gives VIPs exclusive access to the festival.

One just needs to stick it on and it can be used as a contact-less access pass. This is because the sticker comes embedded with a radio frequency identification chip.

In addition, each Stickkey is coated with a special silicone-based formula to enable it to grip almost any surface.

The company said Stickkey technology can be used to provide secure access to hotels, homes and offices and it can also be used in stored value media, like loyalty cards and transport passes. - CNA/vm
