SINGAPORE: Marina at Keppel Bay has been awarded the prestigious 'Clean Marina' certification.
This certification means that the venue has systems and procedures in place to tackle marine hazards that could potentially affect the environment.
Marina at Keppel Bay is the first marina in Asia to have received such an honour.
The marina is hosting Boat Asia – Asia's premier boat show – for the first time and its organisers said there are more exhibitors participating this year.
Boat Asia will showcase luxury boats and waterfront lifestyle products from April 24 to 27.
For the first time, there will also be a fashion show on the 'high seas' where models will catwalk on floating platforms.
