SINGAPORE: Highly interactive sites with fewer words but with more multimedia - that's what youths prefer from Chinese infotainment websites.

This finding came from a five-week study by 40 students from Singapore Polytechnic's Business, Information and Technology course.

The students found that Chinese infortainment websites with music content are more favoured by youths.

Also preferred are those with platforms for expression of opinions.

The study was commissioned by MediaCorp's Xin.sg
