SINGAPORE: The Manpower Ministry's Research and Statistics Department is conducting its mid-year labour force survey from 23 May to 31 July.

The survey will cover a sample of 33,000 households. Those selected will be notified by post.

The purpose of the survey is to collect data on employment, unemployment and other economic characteristics of the population to formulate manpower-related policies.

Homes with internet access can take part through the Internet Household Survey System.

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) assures the public that all information furnished by households is confidential.
