Speaking at the Keppel Shipyard's safety excellence event, Acting Manpower Minister Gan Kim Yong said these companies have been fined a total of S$1.3 million. The fines range from S$50,000 to S$130,000.

Another 15 individuals – from CEOs to safety professionals and supervisors – were fined between S$5,000 and S$50,000 each for not ensuring work was carried out safely.
