SINGAPORE: Seven canvases on which Singaporeans penned their well-wishes for the Sichuan earthquake victims have been turned into Chinese contemporary artworks by renowned artist, Feng Zhengjie.

The idea of having dedication canvases was initiated by MediaCorp artiste, Qi Yuwu.

Six of the canvases will be put up for auction, while the remaining one will be donated to the Singapore Art Museum.

Feng, who hails from Sichuan, was invited by Qi – who says he is greatly inspired by the contemporary artist – to work on this project.
