Ship catches fire at Tuas, one worker suffers second degree burns

SINGAPORE : A vessel caught fire at the Drydocks World at No 33 Tuas Crescent on Wednesday morning.

One worker has been sent to the Singapore General Hospital with second degree burns.

Singapore Civil Defence Force officers arrived at the accident site at about 11.50am.

The fire was confined to an area near the engine of the ship.

Fire fighters brought the fire under control within 20 minutes. - CNA/ms
