SINGAPORE: The Lexus Cup women's golf tournament will return to Singapore this November, after being staged in Australia last year.

The tournament marked two successful years in Singapore, when it was played at the Tanah Merah Country Club in 2005 and 2006.

This year, it makes a comeback but at a different venue and with a bigger prize money.

The 24 women - 12 each from Asia and the rest of the world - will battle for honours at the Singapore Island Country Club.

The prize will be a cool one million US dollars.
