SINGAPORE: COE prices have gone up slightly in the second bidding exercise for August, following drops across all vehicle categories in the last two open bidding exercises.

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) for cars up to 1,600cc rose S$788 to S$13,289 at the close of Wednesday's tender.

Premiums for cars above 1,600cc were S$1,001 higher at S$13,890.

The Open COE, used mainly for cars, however dipped S$100 to S$14,001.

Meanwhile, the commercial vehicle and bus COE climbed S$400 to S$12,989. The motorcycle COE fell S$103 to S$1,310.
