SINGAPORE: SingTel has announced that it aims to raise more than S$2 million for its Touching Lives Fund.

The fund is SingTel's philanthropy vehicle here and the main thrust of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.

It raises donations for less privileged children and young people by engaging the company's associates, employees and the general public.

SingTel aims to reach out to 30,000 children and youths from its beneficiaries. They include the Autism Resource Centre, the Singapore Children's Society, as well as its newly added sixth beneficiary – Mainly I Love Kids (MILK).

The company kicked off the campaign on Friday with a charity golf event at the Sentosa Golf Club which raised S$660,000.
