Police investigating murder of man at Mei Ling Street car park

SINGAPORE : Police are investigating the murder of a man at a car park at Mei Ling Street on Friday afternoon.

Police said they received a call at about 5pm that some men were injured at Mei Ling Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 46-year-old man injured along the 16th floor corridor of Block 154. He was sent to Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

The body of another man - 48-year-old Kanuragaran Jaganathan - was found at the car park between blocks 154 and 157. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 5.30pm.

Police then arrested another 48-year-old man who was at the scene. A knife was also seized. - CNA/ms
