SINGAPORE : Come September 22, the Housing and Development Board (HDB) will be implementing a series of measures to improve the parking situation at Holland Village.

These include an Electronic Parking System to regulate parking demand. Free parking on Sundays and Public Holidays will be discontinued.

Adjustments will also be made to the traffic flow at the car park.

Lorong Liput will be converted into a one-way street to facilitate car park access, while the present access along Lorong Liput will be converted into an entry only access.

Motorists will have to exit via Lorong Mambong (before 6.30pm) or Holland Avenue.

As traffic flow within the car park will be revised, motorists are advised to drive carefully and to observe the new traffic signs and markings.

HDB added that valet parking service is not permitted at the car park.

Motorists are advised to call the car park enforcement line at 1800-2721409 if they are approached by illegal operators. - CNA/ms
