China to reinstate visa-free facility for Singaporeans from Friday

SINGAPORE: With effect from September 19, Singaporeans who intend to travel to China for 15 days or less, will no longer require a visa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said China will reinstate the visa-free facility, since its suspension from July 1, 2008.

The move was part of security measures for the recent Beijing Olympic Games.
