SINGAPORE: A construction site manager made a rare find on Thursday when he stumbled upon an unexploded bomb from World War II at his work site at Anthony Road.

He called the Police at about 11.40am.

Personnel from the Singapore Armed Forces were called to the site, which is near the Environment Building.

Police said the war relic was escorted to SAFTI, where it was disposed of “properly and safely”. - CNA/vm
