Zainul Abidin Rasheed visits Kazakhstan

SINGAPORE: Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed will visit Kazakhstan from October 12 to 17.

He will first travel to Almaty, where he will meet with overseas Singaporeans resident there.

From there, Mr Zainul Abidin will head to Astana for the 7th Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).

In Astana, he will call on senior Kazakh leaders and officials, including Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin and Deputy Foreign Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev.

Together with the rest of the ACD Heads of Delegations, Mr Zainul Abdin will also call on Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. - CNA/de
