Minister Ng Eng Hen calls on visiting Bahrain Crown Prince

SINGAPORE: Education and Second Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen has met Bahrain's Crown Prince Shaikh Salman Hamad Al-Khalifa.

The Defence Ministry said the meeting underscores the friendly defence relations between Singapore and Bahrain.

It added that the Singapore Armed Forces interact regularly with the Bahrain Defence Force through courses and exchange of visits by senior officers.

Crown Prince Shaikh Salman, who is also the deputy supreme commander of the Bahrain Defence Force, is in Singapore from Oct 13-15 at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
