SINGAPORE: Singapore's third peacekeeping team has left for Timor Leste.The is the police force's third contingent there, since the first one in 2006.It will spend a year there, with a mandate to continue to restore law and order.They will also be training members of their Timor-Leste counterparts.The team is led by Contingent Commander Superintendent Keok Tong San.They were sent off by Guest-of-honour Commissioner of Police Mr Khoo Boon Hui. - CNA/yb
