SINGAPORE: The seventh MediaCorp Radio Subaru Impreza Challenge kicked off on Saturday afternoon.

About 400 contestants took the challenge, which requires them to keep one hand on the car for as long as they can.

The last man, or woman standing, takes home an S$80,000 Subaru Impreza car without COE.

This year's challenge has also been expanded to include 40 contestants from four neighbouring countries - Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.

The regional winner will get an additional S$5,000 cash prize. - CNA/vm
