SINGAPORE: Seven Sri Lankans were arrested on Tuesday in a joint operation by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority and the Commercial Affairs Department.

Four of them were arrested in their hotel room, and eight counterfeit credit cards, a card printer, a laptop, stacks of transaction receipts and S$20,000 worth of goods purchased using the counterfeit cards, were seized.

Three other Sri Lankans were arrested in the vicinity. They had with them another 10 fake credit cards.
