Singapore: The Commander of the United States Pacific Command (US PACOM), Admiral Timothy Keating, called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean on Wednesday morning.

ADM Keating also had a breakfast meeting with Acting Chief of Defence Force, Major-General Neo Kian Hong.

A MINDEF statement said ADM Keating's visit underscores the excellent bilateral defence relationship between Singapore and the US.

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and the US PACOM interact extensively through bilateral and multilateral exercises, visits and professional exchanges which have fostered professional rapport and mutual understanding between the two armed forces.
