S'pore Business Federation, NKorea sign MOU to spur investments

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Business Federation has signed a memorandum of understanding with the North Korean Chamber of Commerce to facilitate business exchanges, trade and investment.

The two organisations will explore business opportunities aimed at promoting bilateral trade between Singapore and North Korea.

There will also be regular exchange of information on business and investment proposals by members of both chambers.

The signing of the MOU was witnessed by Singapore's Trade & Industry Minister Lim Hng Kiang and North Korea's Foreign Trade Minister Ri Ryong-nam.
