SINGAPORE: Mount Faber Road and Mount Faber Loop will be closed to traffic on New Year's Eve (December 31), from 10pm to the following morning (January 1) at 1am.

Police said the closure is due to the safety radius required for fireworks that will go off during the Mount Faber Countdown Party.

Boon Lay Place, between Boon Lay avenue and the carpark entrance to Block 207 Boon Lay Place will also be closed from 6.30pm on Wednesday to 1am the following day.

Auxiliary Police Officers will be deployed to help in traffic management and parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced.

Motorists may contact the organizer at its hotline number 63779688 for enquiries.
