Lim Chuan Poh reappointed as A*STAR chairman

SINGAPORE: The Trade and Industry Ministry has reappointed Mr Lim Chuan Poh as chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

Six new faces have also been appointed to the 21-member A*STAR board.

They are Dr Beh Swan Gin, managing director of the Economic Development Board, Professor Bertil Andersson, Provost, Nanyang Technological University, Mr Ong Boon Hwee, chief operating officer, Singapore Power, Mr C Richard Kramlich, general partner and co-founder of New Enterprise Associates, Mr Loh Ngai Seng, Deputy Secretary (Policy), Education Ministry, and Mr Andrew Tan Kok Kiong, Chief Executive Officer of the National Environment Agency.
