S Iswaran attends ASEAN tourism meeting in Hanoi

SINGAPORE: Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry S Iswaran will attend the 12th ASEAN Tourism Ministers' Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam from Wednesday to Saturday.

The four-day meeting will review the progress of regional tourism cooperation and initiatives, as well as discuss matters relating to the overall integration of ASEAN travel and tourism.

The ASEAN tourism ministers will also meet with their counterparts from China, Japan and Korea.

Mr Iswaran is accompanied by officials from the Trade and Industry Ministry and the Singapore Tourism Board.
