SINGAPORE: The man dubbed "one-eyed dragon" was hanged at Changi Prison on Friday morning.

Tan Chor Jin, 42, was convicted in 2007 of gunning down nightclub owner Lim Hock Soon in February 2006.

Tan was hanged after his appeals to the Court of Appeal and to the President for clemency were turned down.

Tan, nicknamed "one-eyed dragon" on account of being blind in one eye, had said in a police statement that he was a former gang leader and the victim Lim owed him money from illegal betting.
