MM Lee on 5-day official visit to Vietnam

SINGAPORE: Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew is on a five-day official visit to Vietnam starting Monday.

The visit is at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Lee will meet Party Secretary Le Thanh Hai.

He will visit the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park II in Binh Duong Province.

In Hanoi, he will meet President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nong Duc Manh, and other Vietnamese government and business leaders.
