The exhibition is on at the Substation Gallery till June 24.
The exhibition by Singapore-based artist Victoria Cattoni includes a video of various women, Muslims and non-Muslims wearing the "tudung".
The women also share their views on wearing the headscarf.
The media-based exhibition is part of a broader project called "Re-dressing the Veil" which has been shown in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
After Singapore, the exhibition is moving on to Brunei and Penang.
Artist Victoria Cattoni, said: "I was primarily concerned with the depiction of representation of Muslim women who wear headscarf, and I wanted to present a counter image to what I see as popular representation to women in tudung, often negative and often cliche from different camps and for different reasons." - CNA/vm/ir
