SINGAPORE: No more dirty public toilets is what Ang Mo Kio-Yio Chu Kang Town Council is hoping to achieve.

It is also the first town council to send its staff for training on how to raise hygiene standards in public toilets.

The aim is for all public toilets to look like the one found at Block 162 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.

It is the first Market and Food Centre toilet to be given the award by the Restroom Association of Singapore.

Other measures include a Best Toilet Manager Award to recognise the efforts of diligent workers. - CNA/vm
