SINGAPORE : Two victims of the Jakarta bombings have arrived in Singapore for medical treatment at the National University Hospital.

They are believed to be suffering multiple injuries due to shrapnel wounds from the blasts.

Channel NewsAsia understands that one of them is an Indonesian and the other, a Caucasian.

Both of them are believed to be work for the same mining company in Indonesia.

A third victim is expected to arrive around midnight and be brought to the Singapore General Hospital's burns centre.

More victims are also expected to be flown into Singapore for medical attention. - CNA/ms
