SINGAPORE: Three people injured in the bombings at Jakarta's JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels on Friday morning have been flown to Singapore for medical attention.

Channel NewsAsia understands all three are foreigners and are believed to be severely injured.

Two of them were flown in at 7pm on Friday while the other touched down close to midnight. The first two victims were brought to the National University Hospital. The third victim was brought to the Singapore General Hospital.

The International SOS and Control Risks - one of the largest integrated medical and security assistance companies - arranged for their transfer from Jakarta to Singapore.

More injured cases are expected to be transferred to Singapore in the coming days.
