China's Minister of Commerce Chen calls on President Nathan, PM Lee

SINGAPORE: China's Commerce Minister Chen Deming called separately on Singapore's President SR Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday afternoon at the Istana.

The leaders exchanged views on global developments and ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Singapore and China.

Mr Chen is in Singapore on a two-day visit to attend the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting.

He also called separately on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on Wednesday.
