BRUNEI : Drazen Govic and Safari Wahit scored their first goals for DPMM FC as they overcame Woodlands Wellington 2-0 at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium on Saturday evening.

The win was enough to propel DPMM up to fourth in the table, one point behind Gombak United and Tampines Rovers.

Mid-season signing Govic opened the scoring for the Bruneian side after just eight minutes to give them hope of erasing the memories of their 1-6 drubbing at the hands of Home United last week.

Those hopes were confirmed by defender Safari, who put the ball past Woodlands goalkeeper Rezal Hassan eight minutes into the second half. - sleague.com
