SINGAPORE: Two men aged 20 and 22 were arrested on Monday for suspected involvement in loanshark activities, following a tip-off.
On Sunday at about 10pm, a member of the public called the police after spotting two men scribbling loanshark-related writings on a wall and splashing paint on a unit at Hougang St 61.
The person also noted down the vehicle number of the suspects' motorcycle and informed the police.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division subsequently arrested the duo within 12 hours of the call.
Handphones and a red marker pen were among the items seized.
Both suspects will be charged in court on Tuesday.
