SINGAPORE : It is the day before Project Hope and MediaCorp stars are hard at work rehearsing on Sunday.
The TV event will raise funds for the victims of typhoon Ketsana and the Padang earthquake.
It will be televised live on Monday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm on MediaCorp's Channel 5, Suria, TV mobile and the outdoor screens at Orchard Central.
All proceeds from the fund raising will go to the Singapore Red Cross, Mercy Relief and Habitat for Humanity.
The event will feature stars like Zoe Tay, Glenn Ong, newly-crowned Anugerah champion Sarah Aqilah, and Daren Tan from Project Superstar.
Aqilah said: "Time is a factor because we were given a short period of time to learn the song, but we took our own initiative to learn it at home... we met up in the studio to do our actual rehearsal together."
Tan said: "I think that by living in Singapore we are very fortunate, and I think we as Singaporeans should our part to help our unfortunate friends and do our part for humanity as well." - CNA/ms
