SINGAPORE : Close to 7,000 visitors will come to Singapore next month to attend the APEC Leaders Week. And preparations for this influx of visitors are well underway.
Close to 700 banners are being put up all around Singapore.
The organising committee said the banners have two goals - to welcome all delegates with a logo that represents all 21 APEC economies coming together, and to underline Singapore's commitment to APEC.
The banners are going up primarily in the Central Business District and airport area. - CNA/ms
