SINGAPORE : Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Friday evening.
During the meeting, both of them agreed on the importance of using international meetings such as APEC and G20 to promote the free trade agenda and resist protectionist pressures.
The two leaders affirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations between both countries.
They also expressed satisfaction at the progress made on the establishment of a Korean Cultural Centre in Singapore, an initiative raised by PM Lee during his visit to Korea in June this year. - CNA/ms
