SINGAPORE: Singapore's Young Lions hope to better their bronze in Korat, Thailand, two years ago - at the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos.
The Young Lions kicked off their campaign with a match against Indonesia. After just seven minutes into the game, Safuwan Baharudin headed in a Shaiful Esah corner.
And barely 20 minutes later, Shaiful turned goal scorer, making a free kick count.
But Indonesia pulled one back just before half time, making the score 2-1.
The Young Lions couldn't maintain their lead, and Indonesia equalised in the 65th minute through a set piece, making the final score 2-2.
Singapore will take on Myanmar in Group B on Monday.
