LOS ANGELES: Angelina Jolie plans to take an entire year off from acting to spend time with her family in 2008, the actress was quoted as saying in a report on Tuesday.
Jolie told People magazine's online edition in an interview on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival that she would take her sabbatical after completing work on several projects later this year.
"I'm working this summer. I'm in Prague for a few months, then I take two months off, then I work for two months," Jolie told People.
"And then I take a year off."
Asked if the time off will be for partner Brad Pitt and the couple's four children, she replied: "Yes."
Jolie, the star of the "Tomb Raider" films who won a best supporting actress Oscar for "Girl Interrupted", is reported to be working on three films: "Wanted", "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Changeling".
