This year's first National Day baby is a boy

SINGAPORE: A baby boy delivered at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital on Thursday morning, earned the honour of being Singapore's first National Day baby this year.

11 minutes past midnight, the bundle of joy arrived for Mr Desmond Koh and his wife.

The Kohs have another child, a 4-year-old daughter.

Mum, Fransisca Mujiastuthi, said: "We are lucky to have the first National Day baby."

"Feeling a bit happy but as per normal, (since) this is the second one," said Dad.
