PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania - White House hopeful Hillary Clinton on Tuesday beat her Democratic rival Barack Obama in the pivotal Pennsylvania primary, US networks said.
MSNBC, CBS news, Fox news and CNN networks all predicted that Clinton would win the key vote as she fights to steady her wobbling quest to be the first woman in the Oval Office.
But the margin of her win remained to be seen. With 45 percent of the vote counted, Clinton was said to be leading by 8 percent, a strong showing but probably not enough to dramatically change the race or narrow Obama's lead in delegates who select the Democratic nominee at the August convention. - AFP/ir
