INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Hillary Clinton on Tuesday won the Democratic presidential primary in Indiana US network CBS reported, while other networks refrained from making an early call in the race.
The Indiana primary was considered a do-or-die win for Clinton as she trailed rival Barack Obama, who won the day's other nominating contest in the state of North Carolina.
The two senators are locked in a battle to be the party's standard bearer and take on Republican John McCain in the November elections.
