SINGAPORE: The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore on Wednesday ordered China's Yili products to be taken off the shelves of supermarkets.

It says Yili's brand of yoghurt ice bar test turned out to be similar to the melamine-laced variety sold in Hong Kong.

AVA's laboratory is currently testing nine products from two brands produced in China. The results will be available in the next two days. - CNA/de
