ASEAN Summit Agenda

ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint.
This proposal includes the priority measures and actions to be undertaken as ASEAN transforms itself into a region with free movement of goods, services, investment, skilled labour and freer flow of capital by 2015. Targets for each member country will also be drawn up and failure to achieve this will result in penalties meted out. This master plan is necessary to ensure the effective functioning of the ASEAN Economic Community to promote growth and create more jobs.

Declaration on Environment Sustainability
As the key theme of discussions at the 13th ASEAN Summit and related meetings will focus on energy, the environment, climate change and sustainable development, ASEAN leaders will sign a declaration on environment sustainability to protect our environment, respond to climate change and conserve the region’s natural resources.

Second Joint Statement on East Asia Cooperation
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation. To mark the progress made and to take the relationship further ASEAN leaders and China, Japan and South Korea will adopt the Second Joint Statement on East Asia Cooperation to guide the ASEAN Plus Three Cooperation for the next decade.

  • ASEAN Mutual Recognition Agreement on Architectural Services
  • ASEAN Framework Arrangement for the Mutual Recognition of Surveying Qualifications
  • Protocol to Implement the Sixth Package of Commitments under the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services
  • Agreements on trade and areas of cooperation with ASEAN Dialogue Partners
