SINGAPORE : Woodlands Wellington held the Super Reds to a 2-2 draw in Friday night's NTUC Income-Yeo's S.League 2008 match at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

In a thrilling match, the Rams went up 2-0 in the first-half through midfielder Sazali Salleh's left-footer from just outside the box in the sixth minute and a diving header from striker Abdelhadi Laakkad at the half-hour mark.

The Koreans piled on plenty of pressure but the Woodlands defence, marshalled superbly by Lucian Dronca and Jerry Bartholomeusz, held firm. But they were broken down just six minutes after the break by midfielder Oh Ddog Yi's flying effort.

A tremendous volley from skipper Yun Bo Young two minutes from time ensured the Super Reds a point from the encounter. - TODAY
