Singapore: US Virgin Islands Ian Barrows has taken the gold in Sailing.

He led with a 34 point difference over Singapore's Darren Choy who came in 12th position in the final race of the Byte CII (C2) event.

The two-time world youth champion wrapped up his sailing campaign without any medals.

He finished 7th overall out of 26 competitors, trailing Germany's Florian Haufe who was 16 points off the lead, to take the silver while Just van Aanholt of the Dutch Antilles won the bronze.

As for the Girls Byte CII event, Singapore's Natasha Yokoyama finished 3rd in her final race and 5th overall.

That saw the 15 year old missing out on the bronze by just 9 points.
