Samsung has announced its latest bevy of mobile beauties and there seems to be something for everyone.

Samsung Soul (picture) is the company's flagship phone for the quarter. It's only 12.9mm thin, but packs in a 5-megapixel camera, Bang and Olufsen's ICEpower amplifier technology and a mini touchpad. It also sports 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity for a speedy link to the web.

The do-it-all Ultra Messaging SGH-i780 is a Windows Mobile-based smartphone with a Qwerty-based keyboard, a touchscreen and an optical joystick that acts like a mini optical mouse. Its connectivity options (WiFi, HSDPA) and GPS (global positioning system) capability make this a worthy choice for any road warrior.

Trigger-happy shutterbugs can check out the SGH-G810. It has a 5-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, face-detection technology and a Xenon flash.

But it's no one-trick wonder — the phone doubles as a music player and hooks you up to the Internet in a jiffy with its HSDPA connectivity.

Another option would be the SGH-B200, a simple candy-bar phone that touts a mobile tracking function. You can also record your favourite songs from the radio on the phone and use these recordings as ringtones.

The F400 Live Loud Music Edition is designed to rock your socks off while you're on the go, with speakers powered by Bang and Olufsen's ICEpower technology. The phone slides two ways and has a unique navigation wheel that lets you scroll through your music library easily.

The SGH-i780 ($828) is available now. The Soul and the SGH-B200 are expected to be available next month, while the F400 and the SGH-G810 will be launched in July. -
