
Enjoy Hokkaido In Summer Using Transportation With Special Offer (Part 2)
We continue travelling around Hokkaido in summer via various modes of transport. Our next destination is the scenic peninsula of Hakodate. This popular sightseeing area is scattered with foreign architectural buildings like churches and western houses. One famous historical spot, the shogunate magistrate’s office, has been reconstructed after 140 years and is located inside the Goryokaku Tower. Later, from Hakodate, travel by a steam locomotive, the SL Hakodate Onuma, which marked its 10th anniversary last year. Its SL C11 steam engine was first made in 1942. All passenger cars in this special train are equipped with tables, creating a comfortable atmosphere for travellers.
